Did a bit of “Bulino Engraving” today. Using a picture taken by Constant Companion RR of her two cats, I think I did a rather decent job.

While the engraving doesn’t show up dark if you look at it directly from the front, I supposed I can apply some black ink to really show the dots. Not sure if I am doing “Bulino Engraving” the way it is meant to be though. I have seen videos where other engravers create dots which show up nice and dark when you look at them from the front. Hmmm… Need to do more research.

I think I rather enjoy this technique. Even bought an online tutorial on how to do it properly. I shall study the tutorial!
