So I have finished the Flora coin.

The background can be more level and balanced. Even with the stippling, it is obvious that the background isn’t flat. For bigger background removal job like this, I will try to remove with a bur next time.

Wave Coin

Next, I worked on and finished another coin today. The design is greatly influenced by Hokusai’s “The Great Wave off Kanagawa”.

I thought I went rather deep with the outlines for the waves. I need a LOT of work on my shading, both the physical cutting and design aspects of shading. This is a rather fun coin to work on.
