Day 71 – DIY Gravers Holder

Didn’t do any engraving today either because I was still editing some pictures.

However, at one point in time I decided to make a holder, for my gravers, which has a cover so I won’t accidentally stab myself with any exposed gravers.

Nothing too fancy, I reused an old cylindrical plastic container which used to hold cotton swabs. I glued a thick foam onto the original cover which I’ll stick my gravers into and what was the container is now the cover to prevent exposing any pointy tips.

The DIY sharpening templates arrived today from the acrylic cutting service company. My new pottery turntable came in too; I’m going to use it for engraving. I can’t wait to try them out.
